NPOA 2015 ELECTIONS

NPOA Announces Slate of Candidates for
Annual Elections Scheduled Dec. 9-10, 2015

NPOA's Annual Elections are scheduled for December 9-10, 2015. Every NPOA member will be presented with an electronic ballot to be sent Dec. 8, 2015. You will be asked to cast your ballot and select two of the following three candidates listed below. Per NPOA bylaws, these candidates were selected by the NPOA Nominating Committee consisting of the following individuals: 

  • Jace Prejean, Bayou Printing and Graphics, Houma, LA and NPOA's Immediate Past President
  • Joe Dominick, Dominick's Quality Printing, Ontario, OR  
  • Eric Pearson, TechnaPrint, Eugene, OR.

According to the bylaws, each elected board member will serve a three year term of office - Jan. 1, 2016 - Dec. 31, 2019. Remember, this is a trade association "run by printers for printers," and its future depends in large part on the individuals you select to manage your association. Please read carefully the brief biographies of each of the three candidates and don't hesitate to email them if you have any questions as to specific goals or positions they may have regarding the future of this association.

 SLATE OF CANDIDATES

 

Nathaniel Grant is the owner of GAM Printers, Sterling, VA, a printing firm with 14 employees and $3.2 million in sales. Grant is a respected local entrepreneur with experience in developing mass production efficiencies and growing distribution channels to a global level. “I am a big believer in using the latest technologies to achieve competitive advantages, and I believe I can do that for NPOA as well.” In addition to GAM Printers, Grant has been involved in starting up five other companies ranging from National Tool Rental, Inc., Carolina Brothers PIT Barbeque, Dynamic Plumbing Heating & AC, and Savvy Communities.  (nathaniel@graphicsandmarketing.com

 

 

Randy Herron is president of Herron Printing & Graphics, a firm with $1.6 million in sales located in Gaithersburg, MD. Herron manages the day-to-day operations of Herron Printing including sales, marketing, production, scheduling, and strategies for his company. Herron has served on Ricoh’s Graphic Arts Council, as well as on the Executive Committee for EFI. “I believe that no matter how effective a trade association is, it can always improve as a result of an infusion of new ideas and a fresh outlook,” Herron notes.
