Pricing Study Released!

The NPOA Mailing Services Pricing Study, a 130-page report packed with the latest pricing data in the mailing industry has just been released. All eligible survey participants have been notified via the email addresses they provided as to how and where to go to download their Free PDF copy. Survey participants, some of whom spent 2-3 hours completing their survey, will also receive a hard-copy of the publication in the mail - it's just our way of saying, "thanks for all your help and participation."

NPOA members who did not participate will be entitled to download an "Executive Summary" of the study within the next two weeks. Look for further info. Conference Program Now Available

NPOA Posts Agenda for
2015 Owners Conference

Thanks to the efforts of John Henry, NPOA Director of Programs & Events, Becky Whatley, Conference Coordinator for NPOA, and the hard work of the entire 2015 Conference Committee, the association has just released its 2015 Conference Agenda. This year's conference also features a pre-conference User's Group meeting sponsored by SoftUse/Printer's Plan. Details on the latter will follow. 

The conference program promises to be the best ever and we are looking forward to seeing as many NPOA members as possible. Of course, as usual, printers who are not members of NPOA are also encouraged to register for this conference so they can mix, mingle and share ideas with printers from across the U.S.

NPOA Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

NPOA was officially launched as a printing trade association two years ago on Dec. 17, 2012 with the help of 19 printers ("Founders") who collectively decided there was a need for a new printing association, one more willing and better prepared to serve the small format printing industry, both digital and offset. By the end of that first month NPOA had attracted 57 additional members. By January 2013 NPOA attracted an additional 146 members, and was well on its way to becoming a viable trade association. Our association is nearly 400 strong and continues to grow. To read more about the history of the association go here.


Many industry leaders and suppliers were skeptical at first, with many questioning whether there was a need for a new association and whether this new upstart association could survive. Well, the association has proved the old adage, "where there is a will there is a way.". The association brazenly scheduled it's first Owners meeting in March of 2013 in New Orleans. More than 120 printers and vendors turned out for that first conference. Many attendees (some long-time members of other trade associations) called it one of the best conferences they had ever attended, offering a great opportunity to learn and meet with fellow printers.


The tradition of holding an Annual Owners Conference continued the next year when the association selected Fort Lauderdale as the site for its 2nd Owners Conference in March of 2014.


Now planning for the 3rd Owners Conference is well underway. Scheduled for April 16-18, 2015 in Orlando, FL, this conference promises to the be the best ever, but only with your support. Be sure to visit our 2015 Conference Page for more details.

NPOA is constantly striving to improve communications with members. We know checking for all the newest NPOA "member benefits" on our web site is not necessarily a top priority for many members and we understand that.

NPOA Launches Exclusive Members-Only

Search Engine for PrintOwners Archives

NPOA Launches Platinum Plus - After months of development and beta testing, NPOA has just released its latest members-only benefit - Platinum Plus! Platinum Plus is a new search engine that can search tens of thousands of emails posted to the PrintOwner List Serv using key words, phrases or authors.and return the results of those searches within seconds. Currently, the search engine searches 10 year's worth of emails previously posted to the PO list serv. Below is the main screen of Platinum Plus:

Typical Searches take anywhere from 1-2 seconds up to 15-30 seconds, based upon the number of key words, phrases and other criteria entered by the user. Searches can also narrowed by using specific date ranges. NPOA members who wish to use this new search tool can either click here or go to the Main Menu > Resources. In both cases, you will be required to provide your username and password.
